Newcastle Cathedral Choir 1988-1993, tenor dep 1996-2002

Jon joined the Cathedral at the age of seven under the Organist and Choirmaster Timothy Hone and rapidly became one of the main treble soloists. As part of the choir he performed for the Queen and other members of the Royal Family, on numerous Radio and Television Broadcasts, with a number of top orchestras including the Northern Sinfonia and London Festival Strings, and was soloist in Haydn’s St Nicholas Mass on his first recording with the choir.
